JENOPTIK Laserdiode
GmbH is a subsidiary of JENOPTIK Holding with currently 20 employees.
Main business area of the company is manufacturing of high power laser diodes
modules, including mounting and beam shaping. Special beam transformation optics
allow symmetrization of the strongly asymmetric laser beam in diode bars. Products
include single diodes with output power up to 40 W, collimated or pig-tailed.
Very high power diode modules, using so-called stack technology, reach up to
1 kW and can be focused to a spot size of 1 mm. JENOPTIK owns a proprietary
cooling and mounting technology which is capable of handling heat dissipation
of up to 3 kW/cm2 and operate the diodes at current densities up
to 2 kA/cm2.
