MergeOptics GmbH
was founded in September 2000 and is one of NanOps youngest members. MergeOptics
GmbH aims to become a leading vendor of highly integrated components and subsystems
for electro-optical interfaces for transmission rates of 10 Gbit/s, 40 Gbit/s
and beyond. The company will offer the smallest standardized integrated 10 GbE
transponder and focuses development work for 40 Gbit/s products on the component
level, targeting highly integrated solutions in InP.
